AngusWilliam GordonLieutenantWas killed in action with Colonel Pilcher's column on June 3rd, 1901.  He was the second son of Colonel William Mathwin Angus, of Framlington House, commanding 1st Newcastle-on-Tyne Volunteer Artillery, was twenty years of age, and educated at Rugby.  He joined the Imperial Yeomanry in February 1901, from the 1st Newcastle-on-Tyne Volunteer Artillery and when killed, was in charge of a flanking party which was suddenly attacked.  Colonel Pilcher wrote "deploring the loss" of Lieutenant Angus.
