Cary | Henry James Lucius | | 2nd Lieutenant | He died of enteric at Standerton, January 2nd, 1901. He was the only surviving son of Colonel Cary, late Rifle Brigade, who retired in September 1889. Lieutenant Cary, was born in January 1872 and educated at Wellington. He entered the Devonshire Regiment, April 1900, from the 3rd Battalion, which was embodied, and in which he was then serving as a captain.
