Dalyell | Charles William Parry | | Lieutenant | Died of enteric at Pretoria, December 7th, 1900. He was born in 1877, and educated at Trinity College, Glenalmond. He was fond of games and was in the College team for football and cricket. He entered the Royal Artillery September 1897, being promoted Lieutenant in 1900. One of his Commanding Officers writing of him said "the service has lost a most promising officer".
