Grogan | Edward Bury | | Captain | He was killed in action at Ficksburg, June 25th, 1900. He was the eldest son of Major General C E Grogan, was born November 1864, and educated at Wellington (Griffiths' House), 1878-81. Captain Grogan entered the South Wales Borderers from the 2nd Brigade Southern Division Royal Artillery, May 1884, being transferred a fortnight later to the South Staffordshire Regiment and was promoted Captain February 1891. He proceeded to South Africa with his battalion in March 1900.
