Atkinson-Clark | Francis Maurice Augustus | | Lieutenant | He died of enteric at Bloemfontein April 21st, 1902. He was the eldest son of G D Atkinson-Clark, of Belford Hall, Northumberland. Lieutenant Atkinson-Clark was born in September 1874, educated at Eton. He entered the Scots Guards December 1897, and was promoted Lieutenant July 1899. He had served from the commencement of the war, and was present at the engagements of Belmont, Graspan, Modder River, and Magersfontein, the march to Bloemfontein and Pretoria, the engagement at Diamond Hill, the operations at Belfast, and the advance to Komati Poort.
