BemiesterInspector J WOf Cape Town, joined the service of the Cape Government Railways in 1865, and took a prominent part in doubling the Wynberg line under Cress well Clark . For eleven years he was in charge of the Cape Government Railway Traffic Department, Cape Town Docks, and for the last two years has been attached to the Staff of the Goods Department, Cape Town.
