The South African Mounted Irregular Forces (SAMIF) refers to two different entities. 

- First, a general term used to encompass a large number of units raised in South Africa for the war. See this list of SAMIF units.

- Second, a distinct unit in it own right.  There is a medal roll for the SAMIF which runs from WO100/276p2 to p84.
