Irvine | D W | | Lieutenant | He died of enteric at Harrismith, March 19th 1902. He was the son of Charles Irvine of Balham, was 24 years of age, and entered the Imperial Yeomanry in March 1901, with the rank of Lieutenant. He was buried in the military cemetery at Harrismith. His name was engraved on a Latten Brass, placed in St, Paul's Cathedral, in memory of all ranks of the 18th, 21st, and 23rd battalions Imperial Yeomanry, who fell in the war.
