Eyre | C G | | Lieutenant | He was killed in action near Sterkfontein, November 15th, 1901. He was educated at Winchester, and joined the Imperial Yeomanry January 1901, with the rank of Lieutenant in the army. He had previously served in the Royal Scots Fusiliers, and when gazetted to the Imperial Yeomanry was Sergeant Major of the 5th New Zealand Contingent.
