GlossopBertram Robert MitfordCaptainBorn Sep 30, 1870, and entered the Dragoon Guards in 1891. He served in West Africa in 1897-8, including the operations on the Niger and in Borgu (despatches, medal with clasp), and in the Boer War in 1899-1900 as Special Service Officer and as Adjutant of the Imperial Light Horse (QSA with four clasps). Captain Glossop has had considerable big game shooting in Africa and India, and has recorded his experiences in Sporting Trips of a Subaltern.Imperial Light Horse
