Glossop | Bertram Robert Mitford | | Captain | Born Sep 30, 1870, and entered the Dragoon Guards in 1891. He served in West Africa in 1897-8, including the operations on the Niger and in Borgu (despatches, medal with clasp), and in the Boer War in 1899-1900 as Special Service Officer and as Adjutant of the Imperial Light Horse (QSA with four clasps).
