PriceR H MajorBorn in Monmouthshire in 1872; is son of T R Price; served in the Boer War, 1899-1902, in the Kaffrarian Rifles and in command of a mobile column, being wounded and mentioned in despatches on several occasion . He is a director of Malcomess and Co Ltd, of East London, and is a Commissioner of the East London Harbour Board. He married, in 1902, Mary Constance, second daughter of John M Peacock, of Queenstown, Cape Colony. There is a picture of him on the Kaffrarian Rifles page.

RickettsArthurBorn at Haywards Heath, Sussex, Aug 7, 1874. He is son of Wm. Tyler Ricketts, Solicitor, of Chailey, near Lewes, and was educated at Dulwich College He was House Physician at University College Hosp., and served as Civil Surgeon in the SA Field Force, 1899 1901, being mentioned in Lord Roberts's despatches, and receiving the CMG, medal and clasps for Paardeberg, Driefontein, Relief of Kimberley, Wittebergen, and Transvaal. He returned to SA as Surgeon Captain in the Irish Horse, 1902, relinquishing his command in Feb, 1903, with the hon. rank of Captain in the Army.
