Pollard-Lowsley | Inglis de Lisle | | Lieutenant | He died of enteric at Middelburg, Transvaal, February 26th, 1901. He was the eldest son of Lieutenant Colonel Lowsley, Royal Engineers, was born in November 1875, and educated at Cheltenham. He entered the Royal Artillery from the Militia, July 1896, being promoted Lieutenant 1899. Lieutenant Pollard-Lowsley went to South Africa in March 1900, for special duty with pom-poms, and commanded a section till the time of his death. His name was inscribed on the Eleanor Cross Memorial at Cheltenham College.
