Harrison | John Collinson | | Lieutenant | He died September 3rd 1900, at Pretoria, of wounds received in action on August 26th 1900 near Belfast. He was born in August 1869, educated at Eton, and entered the 2nd Dragoons, June 1889, being promoted Lieutenant May 1891. Lieutenant Harrison embarked for South Africa with his regiment in October 1899, and first served in the north of Cape Colony, and afterwards was present at the relief of Kimberley. He then took part in the advance on Bloemfontein and Pretoria. QSA (6) RofK, Paard, Drie, Joh, DH, Belf (Lt 2nd Dragoons), 1897 Jubilee (silver, unnamed). DNW Sep 05 £3,800.
