Drysdale | Robert | | Lieutenant | This officer was first reported missing at Slabbert's Nek August 31st, 1901. A Court of Enquiry assembled, and on investigating the circumstances came to the conclusion that Lieutenant Drysdale had been killed on the date mentioned. He was born October 1876, entered the Royal Scots February 1897, being promoted Lieutenant April 1899. He had served from November 1899, with his battalion, first in the north of Cape Colony afterwards in the ORC and Transvaal.
