There is still a Carrington Street in Mafikeng.

How about ..

Lee Metford bullet hit him while in action - at Lindley - He was on duty at the time

It occurred while in battle on duty which was not exceptional

Not sure about that last word. 'Exceptional' does appear in the text for pt 13.
