Jenkins | Frederick | | Captain | JENKINS, FREDERICK, Captain, served in South Africa, 1901-2, taking part in operations with the Imperial Yeomanry in Cape Colony, Orange River Colony and the Transvaal; was mentioned in Despatches [London "Gazette, 29 July 1902]; received the Queen's Medal with five clasps, and was created a Companion of the Distinguished Service Order [London Gazette, 31 October 1902]: "Frederick Jenkins, Captain, Imperial Yeomanry. In recognition of services during the operations in South Africa". He has retired from the Second Cinque Ports, Royal Garrison Artillery.
