The catalogue states 'One of 131 medals issued to the Cape Police. John Peter Spangenberg also served in the Boer war with the Cape Police District 2 and is entitled to a Queens South Africa medal with clasp Cape Colony and a 2 clasp Kings South Africa medal.'

I went through the CP KSA pages in WO100/359 this morning but did not spot him. It seems unlikely it would been issued from another unit?
