Southey | Arthur Melville | | Lieutenant | He was killed in action at Tiger's Kloof on November 23rd, 1900. He was born October 1872, educated at Eton and entered the Scots Guards in April 1892, being promoted Lieutenant in April 1897. Lieutenant Southey belonged to the 3rd battalion, but volunteering for active service was transferred to the 2nd battalion and proceeded to South Africa in May 1900.
