This is a fascinating topic. As an aside several of the MMP who rode with Jameson wore Torrin caps as attached.

I am new on this forum but I did get the file on my Reform Committee man, Sir William St John Carr. The file consists of his trial docs and subsequent appeal and fine. It is all in Dutch. The Archive in Pretoria stores these docs and you would have to engage a local researcher to look for you.

Have looked through my records and have attached the SA Archive references to Tremeers files. I have a local researcher in PTA if you want his details. Also I have a photocopy of a group photo of the prisoners including Tremeer, however the originals are available, I just need to remember where I got them from.

Not sure if you are aware or have the legal docs relating to the Reform Committee and Gilfillan, but there are a host of them in the SA Archive in Pretoria. I can send you details if you need them
