I've just acquired a DoK single clasper to the Kimberley Volunteer Regiment - this not being my theatre of expertise, I am asking for help. There were any number of units created/merged/amalgamated at the time of the siege and trying to find papers or more info on 454 PTE. A. O'REILLY is proving challenging. On this site are attestation papers (some of them) for the Kimberley Horse/Kimberley L Horse. Are there any anywhere for the KVR?

The Biggins book reveals that he was discharged medically unfit on 13 November 1900.

Rory,

There are no papers for the KVR in the UK.

If they exist at all, they may be in the Cape Archives?
