In the year 2000 I had to leave Zimbabwe in a hurry with very little money. I had a small medal collection of some 40 medals to the Unit the Driscoll Scouts, this I regrettably had to sell. I am now in a position to re-attain medals to this unit and would be grateful for any help members could give me in the tracking down of QSA's to this unit. Or to ascertain for research purposes their whereabouts.

ZimScout,

That must have been a very difficult time.

Medals to come up to this unit quite regularly. Have a look at this link: www.dnw.co.uk/auction-archive/lot-archiv...ot_no=&action=Search

There are lots of discussions in this forum too. Click on Search and search for "Driscoll' in the titles.

Welcome to the forum too!

I think that regiment is certainly one of the more prolific and they do often turn up, most of the many provincial dealers have a search facility on their site these days, as do the major salerooms prior to their auction days.
It should not be too difficult to build up another collection in a relatively short space of time.

Thanks for the input Frank, Any help would be greatfully appreciated if you see one. Already up to 7, four of which were in my original collection.
