Being a registered doctor, he was in the directory. It mentions a Medal, albeit wrongly. There is an interesting chap right next to him in one too.

Here is the Crew Agreement for the 27th December 1901 sailing of the Saxonia. It shows him as the Surgeon making 6/6 a day.
It shows that he was also on the previous voyage.

He was on the 2nd May 1902 sailing of the Saxonia - this time to New York rather than Boston.

St. Stephens and the Saxonia were back to the usual route for the 23rd June 1902 sailing.
