From the last Noble Numismatics auction.

QSA (3) Transvaal, South Africa 1901, South Africa 1902. 1399 Tpr: W.C.Willard. Steinaecker's Horse. The third and fourth bars connected to each other but not connected to first bar.

Information from the book titled Steinaecker's Horsemen by William (Bill) Woolmore, p313, 'Willard, William Charles No.1399: Australian. Born Daylesford, Victoria, on 4 February 1879. His family operated one of the hotels in the town. Served previously for 6 months in the Borough Police. Attested in SH (Steinaecker's Horse) at PMB (Pietermaritzburg) on 3 June 1901 - miner, height 6'1", blue eyes, brown hair. NOK: father W.H.Willard at Bridport St, Daylesford, Victoria. Discharged time expired at PMB on 16 September 1902 after the cessation of hostilities. Qualified for the QSA medal with clasps Transvaal, SA 1901 & SA 1902.'

A quick search of the rolls shows 892 Trooper A. C. Clarke in British South Africa Police with QSA entitlement of a single clasp Rhodesia..
KSA entitlement confirmed on SH roll.
Yes, that would be a very nice reunite.
I shall watch this morning's proceedings at Spink with interest!

A recent purchase from Spink's Auction.
K.S.A. to 1565 Tpr. B.F.O. Oxele Steinaecker's Horse.
Bertie Frederick Oscar Oxele served in 2 Coy Imperial Yeomanry, A Div South African Constabulary & Stein Hse..
He earned the QSA with clasps C.C., O,F.S., Trans off the Imp Yeo Roll, C.C., Trans & 1901 clasps off the S.A.C. Roll
and the Trans & KSA off the Steinaecker's Horse Rolls.
The KSA is in good condition and loose on the suspender.
Does any forum member know of the whereabouts of the Q.S.A.?

His IY papers are available, under the name Oxle. Do you have these?

I cannot see his QSA anywhere as Oxle or Oxele.
