Since joining recently l have been very interested to see the amount of interest and detail knowledge available. How do l find out which unit my grandfather RM Stone nr 1609 was in and what actions he took part in
Thank you for that info
I had realised that there were many units in the Natal Carbineers and was hoping not to have to go into each unit individually and search to see which unit RMS served in
Is this possible and hopefully I can discover details of his service
I was not aware he had a clasp
Can you read Stalkers book on line ?
Since joining have been fascinated by the extent and detail of interest and service records, particularly Charles Ward and Frederick Royden Chalmers
I was privileged to meet David Rattray when he gave a most entertaining talk on Isandlwana at Clifton College in Bristol about 2004 and I am now delighted and grateful to you for having instigated this site
