TULLAMARINE.

Trooper William HANDLEN, of the Fifth Contingent, was welcomed home at the state school on Friday evening. The welcome took the form of a social, and much enthusiasm was displayed. The Rev. L. Weir gave words of welcome for the residents, Mr E.E. Allen for the scholars, and Mr J.H. Parr, president of Keilor Shire, made a presentation on behalf of the residents of a watch, chain, and locket. Trooper HANDLEN was a pupil of the local school.

Trooper Wm. HANDLEN, of the Fifth Contingent, was welcomed home at the State school. Mr J.H. Parr, president of the shire, presented HANDLEN, on behalf of the residents, with a watch, chain and locket, suitably inscribed. Trooper HANDLEN has resided here for many years, and was a pupil of the local school.
