NOTES BY “OBSERVER”.
Stratton and Bude Urban Council has, I believe, appointed a committee (with power to add) to arrange a fitting reception of Mr John PICKARD (Imperial Yeomanry), upon his return from South Africa next week. Both he and Mr John BELLAMY (who is not yet returning), have received a silver medal from Major Bolitho, as a souvenir of their part in the war.
