A “welcome home social” given by the residents of Leithfield to Corporal John BRYDON, of the Sixth Contingent, was held in the Public Hall, Leithfield, on Monday evening. There was a very large gathering. During the evening Mr G.A. McLean, on behalf of the residents, presented the guest with a gold albert and pendant, suitably inscribed. Musical items were contributed, and a pleasant evening was spent.
