HOME FROM THE WAR.
FERN HILL. – At the Mechanics’ Institute on Friday evening a welcome home social was tendered to Trooper D.H. JONES, of the Victorian Imperial Bushmen. There was a large attendance. During the evening the president of the shire (Councillor Tressider), who occupied the chair, presented Trooper JONES with a watch, chain, and medal.
