Hinton | Claude Harington | | Lieutenant | He was killed in action in the operations on the Tugela, February 23rd, 1900. He was born in April 1873, educated at Clifton, and entered the East Surrey Regiment, February 1893, being promoted Lieutenant November 1894. He embarked for South Africa in October 1899, and served with the Natal Field Force, and was present at the battle of Colenso.
