Robertson | James Stewart | | Major | He died of enteric, June 1st, 1900. He was the only son of James Stewart Robertson, of Edradynate, Perthshire and came from Colquhalzie, Perthshire, and of Lorn House and Ballanorris, Isle of Man. He was born in 1856, and married, in 1880, Janet Beatrice, youngest daughter of Thomas William Murray-Allan DL of Glenfeochan. Major Robertson, who was a magistrate for county Perth, had been a captain in the 3rd Battalion of the Royal Highlanders from December 1885, and held the honorary rank of Major. He volunteered for active service and was then attached to the 14th Hussars.
