Robbing | Donald Gorton | | Lieutenant | He was killed in action near Standerton, August 22nd, 1901. He was the second son of William Edward Robbins of Fairlawn, Bexley, Kent. Lieutenant Robbins was educated at Berkhampstead School, and joined the Imperial Yeomanry, March 9th, 1901, with the rank of Lieutenant in the army. The name of Lieutenant Robbins was engraved on a Latten Brass, placed in St Paul's Cathedral, in memory of all ranks belonging to the 18th, 21st and 23rd Battalion Imperial Yeomanry, who fell in the war.
