With a length of Lint voor Wonden (LvW)

Willem Johannes Snijman served in the Potchefstroom Commando, Ward Upper Schoonspruit, seeing early action at Mafeking and Magersfontein. He received four bullet wounds in the Rietfontein action: hip, buttocks, arm and leg and was awarded the Wound Riband.
