My husband was born in Jan Kempdorp, so I don't think the Malherbe's from Potchefstroom were family. I am a descendant of the pioneer, Sarel Cilliers. I am related to the Cilliers family from Kroonstad, Vrede, and Heilbron etc.

I posted these records because I want to share it with all the special people on this forum. Apart from the sadness of these people, the war was also tragic because there are so many young soldiers who lost their lives during the war.
