Do you have any further information about HSA Enslin ? I am confused as I thought that he fought on the Boer side and surrendered at Doornkop/Doornkom (spelling?). He was an ancestor of mine, so I would be grateful for any information you can give about his involvement in the Boer War. Many thanks.

"Served: Pretoria" means that Enslin served in the Pretoria Commando of the Boer army. The Pretoria Commando is recorded as having served at Sandspruit, Talana, Ladysmith, Observation Hill, Surprise Hill, Spioenkop, Helpmekaar, Komati Poort, Renosterkop, Bethal, North Eastern Transvaal
