Another card as above, but this one has been used. It's addressed to Monsieur Aug Mogson in Malines, Belgium which is the French name for Mechelen, which is about 25kms from Brussels in Antwerp, Belgium. Although addressed in French, the note is either written in Flemish, Dutch or German. I don't speak or read any of those and so cannot translate it for you. The postage stamps are1884 Belgian definitives. In 1851 Victor Scheppers established a day school in the monastery in Malines (Mechelen) and expanded it into a boarding school. The boarding school became known as the "Scheppersinstitut". Cardinal Pecci called him to Perugia to open an establishment. The congregation eventually spread to Canada, England, the Netherlands and Spain. It seems Scheppers also worked in Africa.
