The “Klerksdorp Museum Historian” posted a message of help on here, unfortunately it was twelve years ago! I’m wondering if anyone in a similar position could help with locating a skirmish which occurred in April 1901 near Klerksdorp. There is a detailed description, but the names of hills etc don’t seem to have come forward to modern maps. Thanks in anticipation. (Times History Vol V I think “Action at Platberg”

Muldoon, I suggest tell us everything you know, such as posting online the maps and accounts you have already found - and I'm confident the forummers will try to fill in the gaps.
