With Brett in mind, this badge is coming up for auction next week at Bosleys.

Buffalo Border Guard Victorian pouch belt badge circa 1873-80.

A good die-stamped white metal example. Laurel sprays surmounted by Buffalo head; 'BBG' to voided centre. Three screw posts to reverse, two retaining their hooped securing nuts. VGC (Owen 428)
