I have a CGHGS medal engraved (correctly in my opinion) to Corporal W S Eckin, Cape Mounted Rifles.

The Forsyth and Owen Medal Rolls give the spelling as Cpl W S Eeekin, CMR

I think he may be Captain Walter Sydney Elkin, since a Cpt W S Elkin was MID for Kimberley TG. Walter Sydney Elkin, died in 1920 ?

Can anybody help ?
