Good evening and welcome,
If he served in the British Army during the war, he would normally be entitled to the medal/medals, I count only six W Emmett's in WO100, one serving with the 3rd Middlesex Regt, could be him I suppose, anything else you can tell us?
Regards Frank

Patemmett,

Welcome to the forum. I hope we can help you in your research.

Like Frank I am struggling with the Duke of Cumberland's LH. There wasn't a unit of this name during the Boer War. Can you tell me where this information came from please?

Frank - could this be an alternative name for one of the IY companies?

Regards
David
