Hello Alan and welcome,
Just had a very quick look in WO100 and he is shown in WO100/114, the QSA roll of the 1st Royal Dragoons, on pages 27 and 79 in respect to his medal and five clasps, Cape Colony, Orange Free State, Transvaal, South Africa 1901 and 1902.
There are also two others, a 3887 G Hatherill and a 4996 H Hatherill on the same roll.
Regards Frank

Hi Frank
Thanks, firstly just to let you know i have been researching my Family for the past 12 years, and this is one of my Brick walls.

The 'H' i am hoping is Hugh Hatherill, he is my Grand Uncle, i have him in the 1881 census aged 3, then he vanishes into thin air.

Thanks again for your info
Alan

Hi Alan,
The roll is available to you on line at ancestry, the original is at TNA Kew, as are any service papers that might have survived.
These will be found in WO96, WO97, WO363 and WO364, most of these, but, not all of them, are also available on line, WO96 and WO97 on find my past and WO363 and WO364 at ancestry.
Good luck with it, Alan.
Regards Frank
