WO100 is the QSA medal roll, it is available on line at ancestry, the original is at the national archives Kew.

Served Derby Corps ( 36 in unit) Served twice (from his number 1479 - mid 1900) served a second time with number 1791. Medal clasps CC, OFS,Tvl, Medal has not been seen for sale. Served 1 General Hospital, Wynberg. Did not serve in the SAC nor as a special in the RAMC. Derby Corps mainly comprised of Railwaymen.

I collect primarily QSAs to Indian Recipients.

I have found 3 references on Ancestry to him being awarded the SA Medal but not yet found a service record.
