I have been trying to find information on the trials held. My Great Grandfather, Richard Thomas Wheeler, was captured at Motkop and eventually trialed in Dortrecht. During the trial, documentation (correspondence and diary) was submitted in evidence. He was the secretary for a Boer commandant and was on the way to the Boer HQ. The evidence, including the diary was kept by the British and filed. I would dearly like to obtain access to the personal diary for my research.
