What name did she serve under? I've tried to find her on the Boer War Nurses database under Chandos-Pole, Gell, Meade-Waldo, Meade, and Waldo, but she's not there (there's a Margaret Meade). Is there any record of her serving in South Africa?

....A memorial service to Mrs. Meade Waldo (83), of Barton-on-Sea [Hampshire], at the same time that the funeral was taking place at Hever Churchyard [Kent] yesterday, was conducted at the Wirksworth Parish Church by the Provost of Derby (the very Rev. H. Ham).
....Mrs. Meade Waldo was the daughter of the late Col. Chandos-Pole Gell, of Hopton Hall, and for many years she resided at The Gables, Wirksworth. She was prominent in the public life of the district.
....She was chairman of the Gell Temperance Foundation, and a life governor of the Wirksworth Grammar School. At one time she was secretary of the Derbysire County Nursing Association, and she served as a nurse in the South African War."
Derby Daily Telegraph, 20th June 1935

At the time of the war she was Mrs Meade-Waldo, being a widow.

She's mentioned in this history of Wirksworth Hall in connection with the war, but no mention of her having been in South Africa herself - www.wirksworth.org.uk/D35-WH.htm#5
