Hi

I am trying to find more information on Peter Hans Christian Nielson. He was my great grandfather who was a POW in St Helena.
He stayed in St Helena after the war and married Sophia Corker. He passed away in 1936
I have looked at the POw’s and in the records there are 2 people with the same name. I was always told he was Danish and in the Scandinavian Corps. The other with the identical name was an American volunteer.
I am interested to know if anyone has any information that would help me

I presumed my version of his name was incorrect. I have 'Nielsen, Pieter Hans Christen'. You have 'Nielson, .. Christian'

From his signature on his marriage certificate it is Peter Hans Christian Nielson.
