Hi, I am doing some research on my family tree and would like to try and find more information on Henry Herbert Ferry. I haven't been able to find a huge amount however I have found a few documents which I have attached. Would anyone be able to confirm if he served in the Boer War? Or know how to get any more details on him?
Any help is very greatly appraciated!

Hello aferry and welcome to the forum.

His service papers are online at Findmypast. He landed in South Africa a few months before the end of the war and served in the mounted infantry. Ancestry shows his medal entitlement as QSA with clasps Orange Free State, Transvaal & South Africa 1902.

It's definitely him Adam. The number on his service papers is the same as the one on the documents you attached in your original post. If you put his number as well as name in your search on Findmypast that will filter out any other men of the same name.
