Phil,

I'm not sure if death certificates were issued under those conditions.

For men who died after the war, I have obtained death certificates from professional researchers for a modest fee in the past. The government's GRO service may also help: www.gov.uk/order-copy-birth-death-marriage-certificate . Ancestry offer a similar service.

David

Phil,

If you give me the details for one man, I will check Ancestry.
