I am undable to find my grandfathers name in any of your lists.

His name was Harry Thompson and he served with the 2nd Battalion Cheshire Regiment. (Railway Volunteers) I have two medals the QSA & KSA> :(

Thank you for your post. While the number of names on the site is growing, there are still many gaps and the current list of Cheshire men is small.

There are two H Thompsons on the medal roll for the 2nd Cheshires with numbers 4554 and 4863.

Neither of these men appear to have service papers available.
