I can find no Service Record at FindMyPast nor at National Archives for

Lance Corporal Henry Sinclair, 1st Battalion Northumberland Fusiliers - who died in the Boer War 1900

Can anyone suggest how I can find hios Service Record

Hi

It is possible that the record has been destroyed. I am currently researching a James Candy who died on Spion Kop 24th Jan 1900 and I am unable to find his army record. I found that the local newspapers were very informative.

I believe that the service records of those who were killed were indeed destroyed.
