I recently bought this stereocard that is captioned, "Market Square and Building in which Prisoners of War were tried. Pretoria, South Africa" and is dated 1901. Does anyone know anything regarding the building where the PoWs were tried? Thank you very much in advance.

I know Boer War prisoners were held in the Old Fort on Constitutional Hill which held political prisoners until the 1980s when it was closed. Anti-Apartheid activists were also held there. It was built by President Paul Kruger in 1893. But might well be a different building to the one you are refering to. www.constitutionhill.org.za/sites/site-old-fort

The one on Constitutional Hill is in Johannesburg. The one in the photo is in Pretoria.
