Good Afternoon Everyone.....

Just obtained another QSA......

1400 TROOPER W. H. ROGERS, B.S.A. POLICE

With bars SOUTH AFRICA 1901 and SOUTH AFRICA 1902, only.....

According to an article written in the OMRS Journal there were only 269 QSA's issued to the BSAP with just the date bars.....

Here are a few photos....

The medal looks as if it has been issued to someone else or another unit and returned to the mint and then re-named (Officially) and issued to Trooper Rogers.....

Mike

P.S. The scarcest bar on a QSA to the BSAP is Orange Free State with only 77, even less that Defence of Mafeking at 94.

Mile,

SA01 and SA02 are always intriguing clasps on a QSA. I didn't realise that about the OFS clasps to the BSAP either.

Many thanks
David
